How to update your browser

We are not able to guarantee that the Learning Management System will function flawlessly on all systems. Newer technologies tend to offer better performance, so we try to stay up-to-date with the newest versions of each system, and older versions must eventually become unsupported. To optimize your web experience, we strongly recommend using the latest versions of your operating system, browser, and Adobe Flash Player. Chrome and Edge will update Flash automatically.

First, check for any available updates on your computer. See instructions on turning on Windows updates here, or Mac updates here.

Next, click on your browser below for instructions on updating:

Click the menu icon in the top right corner, then hover over “Help” and click About Google Chrome. Updates will download automatically if there are any. Click the Relaunch button to restart Chrome.

If you still have the old version of Edge (with the old logo) you can download the new version from Microsoft here.

To manually update Edge once you have the new version (with the new logo) click the menu button in the top right corner, then hover over “Help and feedback” and click About Microsoft Edge. Updates will download automatically if there are any. Click the Relaunch button to restart Microsoft Edge.

Windows:
Click the “Firefox” menu in the top right corner, click the help icon (?) at the bottom of the menu, and then About Firefox. Updates will automatically download. Click Restart Firefox to Update.

Mac:
Click the Firefox menu, then About Firefox. Updates will automatically download. Click Restart Firefox to Update.

Check your Mac software updates for the latest version available. To do this, see Apple’s support article.
